On Sundays at 9:00 a.m., we have classes for children, preschool through 6th grade. We begin in the school theater as a group for music, skits, and an overview of the lesson for the week. Then, we split up into small groups based on age. We love “Digging into the Life of Jesus,” exploring Jesus’ life from birth to resurrection and ascension.
Agape is one of three Greek words for love and it is defined as a deeper sense of “true love” or sacrificial love. Jesus had an agape kind of love for us on the cross. It is this love that hits our hearts, draws us into God’s arms, and calls us to share it with others. It is this love that we are to “impress upon our children.” (Deuteronomy 6:7)
The philosophy of Agape Kids is that it is led by loving adults who have a heart for God’s children. The children will experience God’s love and grace, will engage in God’s Word with their peers, and will express their faith at home with their families and friends.
We welcome all ages to worship with us, but you are also invited to make use of our secure, supervised Nursery. The nursery is available during the 9:00 a.m. service for children 3 and under, who are not potty-trained) and during the 10:45 a.m. service for children 5 and under.
