Pastor Tim Ahlman is excited to be on the journey with Jesus at CGLCS! He has a passion to connect lost people in our community to the saving power of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. Pastor Tim is a third generation LCMS pastor, and his wife Alexa’s father is also a LCMS pastor. Pastor Tim & Alexa have been married since 2004. Alexa is a cosmetologist and amazing mom. Their three children, Adalyn, Malachi and Nyleah love attending Christ’s Greenfield Lutheran School: Pastor Tim loves to golf, read and work on his yard. Jake has been serving at Christ's Greenfield since 2005. He oversees the Jr. Confirmation ministry, external non-profit partnerships, and expansion efforts into the community. He has been married to his bride, Nicolette, since September 2007. Their favorite date night is eating at Brio then walking through San Tan Mall talking and holding hands. They love raising their three little Jesus followers, Francesca, Penelope and Benjamin. Jake loves preaching God's dynamic Word, serving the homeless community, and running half-marathons. You can often times find him chatting about Jesus with someone at Coffee Rush as he enjoys an Iced Carmel Macciato. One of his favorite verses from God's Word is Romans 1:16, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile."
Matt comes from Ventura, CA where he and his wife grew up. After serving several years voluntarily in his home church, he and his family moved to St. Louis to begin Seminary in 2014. This is a second career, having worked the last 15 years in restaurants from cooking, to supplying, to managing. He has been married for 14 years to his lovely wife Michelle. They lead the High School youth group together at their home church, and loved seeing the joy that Christ brings to a church family. Now, Matt and his whole family are here at Christ’s Greenfield working and going to school. Jesus is doing amazing things through the ministries here at CGLCS which give Matt an amazing opportunity to learn and grow. With a background in surfing and restaurants, as well as having lived briefly overseas, Matt likes to talk about nearly anything!

Agape Kids Director
My family and I moved to Gilbert in 2014 from Massachusetts, and we immediately fell in love with the CGL Church and School communities and offerings. My husband,Trevis, and I have been married since 2002 and we have four boys. I am originally from the Kansas City area, and attended college at Avila University, majoring in Radiologic Sciences. I worked as a Mammographer for several years until settling in at home to take care of our boys. Austin, is a recent graduate of the University of Massachusetts, and has relocated here. Our other boys attend CGLS, Lincoln, Nathan, and Owen.
After teaching Sunday School for a couple of years, I joined the staff as the Director of Agape Sunday School. I feel that Sunday school not only helps to shape our children’s faith and biblical literacy, but also is an integral part of a family’s Christ-filled journey here at CGLC. Sharing the love of Jesus with every child is the priority of our Sunday School program. I hope to help grow this program over the coming years.

Tanya graduated from 8th grade and was confirmed at St. Peter-Immanuel in Milwaukee and attended Milwaukee Lutheran High School until her family moved to New York. God blessed her days at her precious alma mater, Concordia in Bronxville . God continues to guide Tanya to new adventures in education. Her husband, Joe, who turned out to be the best blind date ever, shares her passion for helping children. Joe has been a school counselor, crises counselor, and P.E. teacher over the years. Together they parent, mentor, and love their three sons, Joe (11), Josh (9), and Jake (6). Being parents only increased their dedication and commitment to being the very best educators they could be for our other children—the ones we are blessed to teach, guide, and love at our schools.
